How to generate a Main Sequence 3-Scale API Keys for PCRecruiter

This article will help you generate the App ID and Application key for the hireEZ - PCRecruiter integration. Please note that if you already have a Mainsequence .3Scale.net account, you can skip to Step 9.

1. Go to https://main-sequence.3scale.net/signup and fill out the appropriate information:
   
   
2. You will get this message:
   
3. Go to your email and click on the activate your account link:
   
4. You will be taken to the main sequence.3scale sign-in screen.  Enter credentials and sign in:
   
5. Upon signing in, you will see that the account has not yet been approved:
   
6. You can exit the above screen and will notice that a new email has arrived explaining that your account is in the approval process:
   
   
7. You will receive another email within 24 hours+/- stating your account is approved which will allow you to sign in.  Upon signing in you will be able to generate an API key and upgrade it.  Meanwhile, go ahead and complete all the steps above ASAP to get the account approval process started.
   
   
8. Once approved, you will receive an approval email from 3Scale.  Click on the link to sign in:
   
9. Once signed in, click on the API Key Link:
10. From the API Keys tab, click on Review/Change to change the API Key from Free to Enterprise:
    
11. In the pop-up window, select PCR Production Enterprise:
12. After clicking PCR Production Enterprise, make sure it says that at the top of the pop-up window, then select Request Plan Change:
13. You will see your request has been submitted message flash in a black banner box that disappears quickly.  Go to your inbox and check to make sure you received this message:
14. Approval will come via email in a day or so.  At that point, log back in, and go to the API Keys tab to verify that the API you now have is PCR Enterprise Production.  Your account should look like this:
15. Your Application ID and Application Keys will be located in the red boxes, as shown above. We have blocked out the information in black, but you will see alphanumeric codes in each of these boxes. Copy both the Application ID and Application Key and add those details in the PCRecruiter integration in hireEZ to ensure you have a fast integration.
    
    
16. If you have already integrated with PCRecruiter in the past, please go to the Apps page, and hit manage under the PCRecruiter integration. Press on “Access Configure” and scroll down to the Application ID and Application key section to enter the details from the 3Scale website.
