What is the difference between status labels and tags?
Answer:
A status label is per project and per stage - reflects the different candidate statuses that are applicable within the different stages, and will be reset when the candidate is moved to other projects or other stages. It is displayed under the candidate's avatar so users can better see the status of the candidate, and more easily action on next steps to manage one's pipeline. Status labels can be divided into two types: auto-added by the system and manual-added by the user self.

Tags are a great feature for team collaboration and to keep the talent pool organized. It allows users to add tags both to individual candidates and to groups of candidates who share a common characteristic. Once the tag is added to the candidate, users will be able to see the tag on the profile every time when the candidate shows up. While the status label is project and stage specific, once a tag is added to a candidate profile it will be visible across all projects/stages a profile exists in.
