A status label is a new component of the hireEZ candidate profile that can be added by yourself or automatically added by the system when the candidate is in a different pipeline stage. You can use labels to quickly check the candidate's status so as to take the corresponding action or next step in managing your pipeline.
This article covers the following topics:
- Different status labels in different stages
- Bulk change the candidate's status
- Using all filters to filter out the specific status
- Manually add a status
Different status labels in different stages
With the change in the candidate's status, there will be a different label displayed under the candidate avatar. In other words, a candidate can only have one label associated with their profile at a time within a specific project.
Good fit
Three status labels under this stage:
- Shortlisted: it is a manually-added label to prioritize candidate outreach as the next step.
- Email bounced: automatically added if the email cannot be successfully delivered to any of the candidate's email addresses.
- Email scheduled: automatically added for candidates under the good fit stage who have been scheduled with emails, but no emails have been sent yet.
Contacted
Three status labels under this stage:
- Emailed: automatically added once the candidates who have been contacted via email through hireEZ's engagement functionality.
- Texted: a manually-added label for you to add as a reference.
- Called: a manually-added label when you called the candidate.
Replied
Four status labels under this stage:
- Shortlisted: it is a manually-added label by the user self to prioritize the candidate to reach out.
- Interested: automatically added for the candidates who replied "Interested" to the poll.
- Not Interested: automatically added for the candidates who replied "Not Interested" to the poll.
- Contact later: automatically added for the candidates who replied "Contact later" to the poll.
Scheduled
One status label under this stage:
- Canceled: automatically added for candidates who have scheduled a meeting but then canceled it.
Exported
Two status labels under this stage:
- Exported to ATS: automatically added for candidates who have exported to ATS, regardless of in which stage, no matter if it is manual or automated.
- Failed to export: automatically added for candidates whose export action failed.
Bulk change the candidate's status
By bulk selecting candidates → clicking into the ellipsis menu in bulk actions → clicking the “change status” button, you can change the candidate's status in bulk.
Using all filters to filter out the specific status
With the status added to the candidate profile, you can now use the "All Filters" on the left-hand side to filter out the candidates who are in the specific status.
FAQ: Can the user assign multiple status labels to one candidate?
- No, one candidate will only have one label at most in each project.
Manually add a status
Question:
Can I manually add the status label to a candidate?
Answer:
Yes, definitely. For the following automatically added labels, Email scheduled and Email bounced in Good fit, Emailed in Contacted, Interested, Not interested and Contact later in Replied, you can manually add these labels to the candidate as well.
Say, if you have contacted the candidate via the phone and the candidate is interested, you may then manually move the candidate to the Contacted and add the "Interested" or "Contact later" label to the candidate.
