As academic qualifications become more commonplace, recruiters and employers are increasingly demanding them, regardless of whether they're necessarily required for the specific job. In an age when Higher Education is stepping into a global commodity, the skill for sourcing candidates based on a variety of educational backgrounds can be fundamental in a hyper-competitive and saturated talent market.
hireEZ provides you the feasibility and solution for sourcing candidates with any particular academic background.
You can locate the Education filters on the sourcing page.

Degrees:
You can start by selecting the Degrees. Multiple degrees are choosable and the results will pull the candidates from all selected degree levels. Please notice the degree here is defined by the highest degree.
For example, if you want to hire someone above a Master's degree, you should include Master, Ph.D., J.D., M.D., D.O., MBA.

Majors:
You can choose multiple related majors to expand your search results, or you may tick the Include Similar Majors box for AI to generate relevant majors for you. If you are an Enterprise user, you can then refer to the Analytics page to check the similar majors.
Schools:
This filter is especially helpful when you source local talents or outline alumni from a group of target schools. You can simply add school names or their abbreviations, and tick the Include Similar Schools box if necessary. If you are an Enterprise user, you can then refer to the Analytics page to check the similar schools.

When you choose to include similar majors/schools, you can check the Analytics page by clicking the button on top of the candidates' list.
If there are any schools that you don't want, add them to the Exclude From Schools section.

You may also click on Add/Edit Lists to save a list of Include/Exclude schools for future use.

If you choose to add this list automatically for future sourcing tasks, the schools will be added automatically the next time when you start a new sourcing task.
*Please note: for all the added lists on the AI Sourcing page, you can include up to 200 entries in one list and apply 5 lists in total. In other words, a total of 1,000 entries can be added to these filters.
Last but not least, you can set the Year of Graduation period to start your candidate search. This can be extremely helpful for college recruiting or for finding recent graduates.
