Years of experience is always a tricky filter to set, especially for senior positions. Candidates change their companies and positions all the time. How can you quickly identify those candidates with the most relevant years of experience? In hireEZ, you can find filters under the General and Experience tabs of the AI Sourcing page to help you define the experience of your targeted candidates.
General - Years of Experience
Under the General sourcing tab, you will find the section to select the ideal total years of experience of your search. This filter indicates the total years of work experience after the graduation year of the candidate. You need to select all applicable year ranges here. For example, if you need candidates who have at least 8 years of experience, you'll need to select all three choices of 8-10, 10-15, 15-20. If you only pick the 8-10 option, hireEZ will exclude candidates who have more than 10 years of experience.

Experience

Years in Current Company
Located under the Experience tab, if you'd like to screen candidates with certain stability and loyalty to their current employer(s), this is the go-to filter.
Years in Current Role
You can find the filter just below the Year in Current Company one. If you have certain years of experience requirements in the current position, or you're looking for people who have at least worked in a particular role (even if they've had this role at different companies) for some time, this filter could be helpful to try out.
Seniority
Listed at the end of the Experience tab, the Seniority filter is recommended if you're looking to fill a high-level position in general. The AI will depict these keywords (e.g. senior, manager, director, executive) from a combination of the candidate job titles and years of experience.
PRO TIPS:
-
For an optimal candidate pool result, it's not recommended to use all the Experiences filters en masse.
