When you find one good fit candidate on a sourcing platform, you may want to explore more and find candidates with similar skills and backgrounds. hireEZ understands your needs. In fact, we offer you three solutions to find similar candidates.

The Similar Candidates feature is embedded in our Chrome Extension. You can download and install the extension from the Chrome Web Store or simply click the link here. Please refer to the article hireEZ Chrome Extension Installation for further instructions.

The extension works on many popular sourcing platforms including LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter, Twitter, GitHub, Kaggle, Stack Overflow, Google Scholar, and Google Search. Once installed and pinned, click on the small icon on the upper right when you come across a good fit candidate and you will be able to view additional candidates with similar skill sets under the Similar tab on the sourced candidate’s brief profile.

You may check the Location and Job Title of these candidates here and click on the grey skill link under each candidate to view the list of matched skills. If needed, you can click on the Name of the person to learn more about the Education and Work Experience and Market Insights of the candidate.

If you find these candidates fit the opening role as well, click on the round “+” button at the corner of their cards or use the Add all 3 to project link at the bottom to sync/bulk sync the candidates to your hireEZ/Rediscovery projects.

Sometimes when you find one desired candidate from platforms like Twitter and GitHub, it might be difficult for you to learn about the background of the person. The workaround way to find similar candidates is to check the full profile of the candidate on hireEZ and see if there is any uploaded resume of the candidate. You may either click on the links under the candidate’s Chrome profile or do a cross-reference search inside hireEZ.

After receiving the details of the candidate’s resume, you can either use our Resume Parsing feature on the sourcing page or input the information manually to the sourcing filters. For instance, you might want to find candidates who graduated from similar programs and majors or candidates from the same company.

Edit the sourcing filters based on your needs, give feedback to the sample candidates and click on Good fit to save your search and your good fit candidates. 

You can also turn on the AI Recommendation feature when you save the search criteria.

By enabling the feature, hireEZ will automatically source qualified candidates when you are away.

You will receive both email and in-app notifications when new candidates are pushed to your search results.

Click on See all Recommendations to view the candidates on your search results page.

You will then be able to give Good Fit to the candidates or move the candidates to other stages of the pipeline.
