

In this article, we offer you a few tips to help you connect with candidates in your pipeline without email integration.
Sync Candidates to Your ATS/CRM
*Enterprise users only
If you have integrated your ATS/CRM with the hireEZ app, sync your candidates to your ATS/CRM and then contact them from there.
Check the candidate you want to export/download. You may find the Export option when clicking the 3 dots on the top of the candidate’s profile.
Or you can bulk-select candidates from your pipeline and click on the Export link to export candidates to your connected ATS.
In this way, you and your team members are able to view candidates who have been synced to your ATS.
Message Candidates from Your Work Email
If you do not have your ATS integrated, you can use the contact information from the candidate’s profile and email the candidate from your mailbox directly.
Although hireEZ is not able to track the status of your email automatically nor set sequence engagement emails, we have prepared a toolbox for you under each candidate’s profile to help you manage the communication with the candidate and cooperate with your teammates.
You can add Notes to the profile to let your teammates know about your communication with the candidate. You can select specific team members or make the note available to all team members in the project or the whole team.


The Notes features enable you to manage candidates on your contact lists directly from hireEZ and save your time and energy to sync with your team members about the conversations between you and the candidates. Of course, if you are the Admin of the team, you can also set a Contacting/Contacted stage in your pipeline to sort these candidates together.
Connect with the Candidates via Social Platforms
One thing that we are proud of is that hireEZ is more than a contact finder. On the candidate’s profile, all the associated social platforms will appear on the right side of the candidate’s contact information.
You can click on the icons to view the personal page of the candidates on each platform, and you can contact your candidate based on your need and the background of the candidate.
LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter...pick the one that works both for you and your candidate! If you are engaging with a Technical talent, follow the candidate on GitHub and see if the person has any links to other social media. With the additional socials on the hireEZ profile, you have more options to contact the candidate.
Similar to Notes and Reminders, you can also add Tags to notify your teammates about your action and prevent them from reaching out to the candidate repetitively.
After the tag is added, it will appear under the candidate’s brief profile listed in the pipeline.
You can search for candidates with specific tags using the ALL FILTERS menu。
FAQ: What are the differences between email engagement and on-platform messages?
On-platform messages allow the candidate to view the background of you and your organization directly by opening your home page or your online profile. This enhances the credibility of the recruiters and may increase the candidate’s replying rate as it saves the person’s time to check the details of the company.
While email engagement may seem “old-fashioned,” it also has its advantages. On the one hand, candidates who are not currently looking for new jobs are not always active on the platforms and thus it is more efficient to contact these candidates via email. On the other hand, some platforms consume extra fees or credits to enable the on-platform message function and for some technical platforms, you can only message the candidates if they are holding open projects. In these cases, emailing candidates becomes a better option.
