When your colleague shares a sequence with you, you will not be able to make edits since the colleague is the sequence owner. To adapt the messaging as your own, cloning a sequence can help.

A/B testing is a popular method to figure out the influence of different factors in your messages. Usually, recruiters create two messages that are exactly the same except for one factor which can be either the language usage or the sending time. Then, recruiters divide the candidates into two groups and send out the two versions of emails separately. After a couple of days, recruiters can compare the different open rates and reply rates and use the conclusion to improve their future emails.

In hireEZ, you can use the Make a Copy feature when creating Version B, this way you won’t need to rewrite the message. You just make the changes in your cloned templates or sequences as your desire and send them. This little trick can be achieved in the Sequences Tab as well as the Templates Tab.

How Do I Copy Sequences or Templates?

Locate the Messages tab and go to Sequences or Templates, then click on three-dot icons and select Make a Copy.

You can rename this cloned sequence, and choose to keep it to yourself, share it with your team or any individuals on your team.
