Evidence has shown that adding variables in your subject line when addressing candidates significantly increases your response rate.
The beauty of sending your sequences through hireEZ is not sending emails in a group, it’s sending your candidates an individualized email. In the long run, this will be what distinguishes your emails from the rest of the recruiters out there.
Add Variables to the Email Content
You can locate the Variables button under the subject line when you are editing the email to the candidate or creating new templates/sequences on the Messages tab.

The variables can be added anywhere in the main text of your email. You will be able to add personalized information such as the candidate's Full name, first name, last name, company, location, current title, and Social Links. You can also make the Sender's name a variable.
Add Variables to the Subject Line
If you want to add variables to the subject line of the email, you may type in {{%variable_name%}} to the line and replace any spaces in variable names with underscores, such as:
-
{{%firstname%}}
-
{{%fullname%}}
-
{{%candidate_company%}}
-
{{%current_title%}}
Based on this point, hireEZ now also offers the Variables feature in the subject to make it convenient for our users.
Here is a quick snapshot for your reference:
In the subject line, I have inserted variables as shown in the screenshot.
In the Outbox, the variables are replaced with the related information.
As indicated above, inserting variables into the emails will automatically change the field to match candidate info accordingly. You can apply this feature when you bulk send emails to the candidates.
If you are uncertain about the variables, you can always preview or send a test version to yourself.
