Sending sequences to your candidates is not always an easy task, since you are not able to foreshadow events in the next few days or weeks. What if the status of the role changes after a couple of weeks or if you want to add new information that might be attractive to your candidates?
In hireEZ, we offer you the flexibility to edit your sequence even after the campaign has started.
*Please note, only Scheduled Emails can be edited. Finished sequences are not able to be Edited or Canceled.
Two parts in this article will be mentioned:
1. How to Edit the Scheduled Sequence
To modify your scheduled sequences, go to Messages --> Outbox. You will find the sequence status marked in yellow. Click on the three dots button on the right and select Edit from the drop-down menu.
If you have bulk sent the sequence and would like to edit the sequence to certain individuals, you may look for the specific sequence under the recipients tab.
In either case, you will be led to a pop-up window where you can view the content of the sequence. The set time and sender's names of the sent messages will be shown in grey and the content of the email is unchangeable.
You can scroll down and modify the information of all the scheduled emails, such as editing the content of the message and selecting if you want to send the follow-up as a new thread or as a reply. You may also apply the email delegation feature or change the scheduled time. If you choose the American time zone, we will highlight the holiday when you choose the sending date.
You are not able to create new follow-ups to the sequence or edit the list of receivers here, but you can add CC and BCC to the email.
When you finish, you can click the Save button to save your changes. You will have a chance to Preview the status of your sequence. Click on Send to send out the modified messages.
2. How to Pause the Scheduled Sequence
Similar to editing the sequence which has been sent out, you can also pause the follow-up emails of this sequence. On the Outbox page, you will be able to find the sequence you sent out and then click the three-dot button. By clicking "Cancel", the sequence will be stopped.
If you would like to manually pause the sequence to the specific candidate, you can go to the Recipient page and find the candidate. And then same above, you can click Cancel to pause the sequence to this candidate.
For sure, if you would like to restart the cancelled sequence, you can do that from this page as well.
