Tags are similar to Notes, except that they’re limited to 25 characters. You can use this feature to highlight the availability status of candidates or to mark the candidate who would make a great fit for a different role. You may also use tags to notify your team members that you have reached out to the candidates via other platforms.
How to Tag Candidates
Tag is a great feature for team collaboration and to keep your talent pool organized. It allows you to add tags both to individual candidates and to groups of candidates who share a common characteristic.
To tag an individual candidate, simply click Add Tag on the candidate's profile card and input the information that you like to associate with the candidate.

To tag multiple candidates at the same time, select the target candidates and click on Tag on the drop-down list.

By clicking the Tag, you will be able to Add Tag or Remove Tag.
You can also manage the tags through the Tag tab under the candidate's profile, or check the tag from Activity log.

Make Your Tags Useful
The tags you create should be consistent with your team's workflow. Here are some ideas to get you started:
-
Status: You can tag candidates who have been reached out in other projects or through other platforms, for example, Contacted or Contacted via LIR. In this way, you are able to prevent duplicate reaching out actions from your team. You may also mark the candidates who are not interested in your organization as DO NOT CONTACT.
-
Niche Skills: Add certain language skills or certifications to the candidates' profiles to highlight their fitness to the role.
-
Engagement: Sometimes the candidates might not be available in the near future but will be good fits for the company. In this case, you can use Tags to mark these candidates as Nurturing Candidates or Contact in 3 months. For Enterprise users, you can also set reminders for yourself along with the tags.
Team Admin: Manage Candidate Tags(Enterprise only)
Team Admin users are able to view the usage of all tags and edit, delete or merge unwanted spellings from the Tag Management page.
You can click on the numbers under the Candidates column to view the details of the tagged candidates.
Use the Edit button when you need to modify any of the tags. If you click on Delete, you'll be asked whether you want to merge the tag with any other one or delete it permanently. You can merge the variable spellings of the same phrase from here.
