In hireEZ, the Hiring Process is the stages that candidates go through in a project pipeline. As shown in the screenshot below, the Hiring Process bar appears above the list of candidates and indicates the number of candidates in each stage of the process.
If you are the Admin of the team, you can customize or create multiple Hiring Processes to suit your needs. To start, go to the Admin Console. Click the profile and find the Team settings, and you can locate the Hiring Process page under the Projects tab.
From here you are able to check all the existing Hiring Processes, the number of Projects using each process, and the Creator and Modification Date of each process. To add a new one, click on +New hiring process.
Add a new hiring process
Click on +New hiring process. You can start editing on the next page. Click the area of Untitled hiring process and enter a new process name. To save your time, hireEZ sets the five categories by default and includes the Good Fit, Contacted, Replied, Scheduled, and Exported stages in the Sourcing Category. You can add as many stages as you need such as the Screen, Interview, Offer, and Hired etc. categories here. When the new stages are created, you can also use the pencil button to re-edit the stages or click on the trash bin button to delete the stage.
If you want to keep consistency with all the projects across the team, you can set the hiring process as the default process for the entire team by checking Entire team/Groups in Mandatory hiring process. You can also choose to apply the process to a specific group from the drop-down menu.
Please note that once you apply the process for the entire team/selected group, this process will be the ONLY option available for them when creating/editing a project. If multiple processes are applied, the team/group will be able to choose from any of the applied processes. When no process is mandatory, the team members can use any existing processes.
Choose the hiring process when creating a new project
After you saved the Hiring Process, you and your team members are able to find a "+" behind the default stages, and click on it and you can edit the project pipeline, when creating a new project.
Delete a hiring process
If you want to delete a mandatory hiring process, you need to remove the mandatory setting first. Click the Hiring process name and open the process details. Cancel the checked Mandatory hiring process area.
Then go back to the process list, click on the 3-dots to Delete it. Once the process is deleted, all projects using the processes will be changed to the Default outbound recruiting process.
