Recruiters are always busy. We understand the value of your time and try hard on our end to smoothen your workflow. Now we offer you the new sourcing flow which enables you to train hireEZ AI while you are editing the filters on the left: you can access to the candidate's full profile by clicking candidate' name during your sourcing process.

In this article, you will find out:
Create a New AI Sourcing Task
In the new AI Sourcing, you can simply click the Sourcing button on the navigation bar to start a new sourcing task. You may also find the Create Project button on the recent projects and create a project first before kickstarting your search.
In either case, you will be able to find all the AI sourcing filters on the left-hand side of your screen when you launch a sourcing task.

Simply fill in the criteria of the role that you are working on. Input the Job Titles, Locations, Skills as well as the Work and Education Experience of your targeted candidates. You can click the tabs listed on the left to view the details of each section. As you can see from the screenshot below, the range of your talent pool and the list of candidates will update automatically when you edit the filters on the left.

If you are sourcing for a role that has been searched in your previous projects, or if you would like to use the search criteria that has been applied in other search tasks, click on the Saved Searches button on the upper right of the filters and select the search from the drop-down menu.

The filters will be filled with the information from the selected search. You can then edit the filters based on your needs.
Start with Resume/JD or Boolean String
You may also start your search with Resume/JD Parsing or a Boolean String.
Resume/JD Parsing
The Resume/JD link is located next to the Job Titles filter. Click the link and paste the job description of the role or the resume of any desired candidate in the pop-up window. You may also upload a resume/JD file by drag-and-drop or browsing your local files. Resume/JD parsing supports files in .txt, .pdf, .doc, .docx, and .rtf formats. Then click Parse Now to continue.
*Please note, when you hit the parsing button, any filters that already applied to the search will be overwritten.

You may start with parsing and then modify the search criteria based on your needs. For example, add Language and Location requirements or source candidates from specific platforms/underrepresented groups. If you think there are too many skills listed under the Mandatory Skills filter, you can also move some of them to the Preferred Skills to expand your search.

Boolean String Search
The Boolean Builder feature is now located in the Keywords section. You can input up to five Job Titles in the section and click Show additional requirements to edit the Mandatory and Preferred Skills of the candidates. When you are ready, hit Generate Boolean in the middle to view the Boolean string of the role. You may copy the string or click Search to add the string to the Keywords section of your sourcing filters.

You can view the list of candidates on the right and modify the filters to shape your talent pool. You may also use the Boolean strings as supplements to your searches: unlike the Resume/JD Parsing case, you can add Boolean strings to your existing searches without overwriting the filters.

Customize and Modify Your Search Results
After you have finished editing the filters, you may screen candidates on the right and give Good Fit/Not a Fit to the candidates. We recommend that when you consider a candidate as not a fit for the role, select your reason from the drop-down menu to help our AI learn your preferences and needs.

You can select up to 200 candidates each time and use the blue bulk action buttons on the top to give Good Fit/Not a Fit to all selected candidates, to Save the candidates to a new/an existing project, to Engage the candidates, or to Export the candidates. You may mark these candidates by bulk adding Tags or Notes to their profiles.
*Please note, you will have to save the project before you Sync/Export candidates at this stage.

When you have less than 1,000 candidates in your searched talent pool, you are able to screen candidates with the Power Filters above the list of candidates. You could click the filter and then all the filters will be available for you to search.
The Not contacted by team/Not viewed by team filters enable you to view candidates who have not been contacted/viewed by your team in the last 1/7/30/90/180/360 days. The Contact information filter helps you find candidates with any contact info or with personal emails. The High Availability one filters candidates who receive a score over 80 on availability according to hireEZ's AI.

How to Save the Candidates to Your Projects
When you finish editing the filters, click the Save to Project button in the top right corner of the screen to save your search task in a project. You can select an existing project or choose to create a new project from the pop-up window.

After the search is saved, you will be led to the Search Results page within the project. Your Good Fit candidates have been added to your Pipeline, and you can view the Not a Fit candidates by clicking the named link on the top right.
You are able to check your Search History and Saved Search using the buttons above the sourcing filters. Click the trash Clear button if you want to Clear the content of the filters.

By clicking the "Search History" button, you can also find the Save/Copy/Delete the search to other projects.
That's all you need to know for the new AI Sourcing workflow! You may then go to your pipeline to view and engage the good fit candidates, edit the project details, or go to the Collaboration tab and share the project with your team members.
