Where Does hireEZ Gather Candidate's Personal Contact Information?

hireEZ gathers the candidate's contact information from third-party data providers. Much of the data received from data providers is traceable to information from “profession-related” public sites such as GitHub, Angel List, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, and Google Scholar. These are sites where data subjects post information about themselves in a professional or employment-related context with the expectation to be viewed by others for professional development or employment purposes.

HireEZ performs due diligence on all of its providers to assess their data privacy and security practices and gauge their trustworthiness as business partners. hireEZ also enters into Data Processing Agreements with its data providers in which they contractually represent that they have a valid legal basis to provide such data to hireEZ. These contractual safeguards also help ensure that data subject rights are protected.
