Hey, recruiters and TA teams. I hope you all have had a great holiday to kick off 2021 strong. 2020 was a tough year for us all, and we are ready to see the light at the end of the tunnel in 2021. At the same time, we equip you with the following three new features to succeed in this new year.
One thing we have learned from 2020 is that leadership is always important and precious. It is not only about a leader's spirit but also about hiring people with the right vision and knowledge base for what may be a very precise area of expertise. Having a couple of professional leaders in your tent can bring unimaginable benefits to the team. To help you minimize the difficulty in finding experts and leaders in these fields, we built a new sourcing tab --- Scholar.
By checking the checkbox on the top of this tab, our AI will focus on sourcing candidates from Google Scholar, Arxiv, Zenodo, ResearchGate, and Microsoft Academics. You can leverage it to search candidates by research fields, research topics, keywords in publications and patents, or conferences and journals. What's more, searching for qualified candidate names that you have already known in Authors also works. In this way, you will get to know more candidates in this field who are co-authors' of your familiar candidates. The other two filters, Citations and Publication Dates, enable you to screen out candidates with highly-cited or recently published articles papers.
h-index: H-index measures both candidates' scientific productivity and impact in the field. It means h number of the author's published papers that have been cited for h times
i10-index: the number of papers that have 10 or more citations
Gmail Integration with Hiretual Extension
Gmail Integration with the Hiretual Extension is another email engagement workflow we provided for users who have integrated their Gmails with Hiretual. You can enable this directly in your Gmail, and will be able to engage with your candidates from here as well.
When you compose emails in your Gmail when this extension is enabled, you will be able to access similar features as in Hiretual. You can use your saved sequences and templates or save new templates as well. Checking the Track box, you will be able to see its performance in the Message --- Sequences/Templates in the Hiretual web app.
If you prefer to customize every email you send, the Reminder feature will definitely be a great help. Set up a specific time and you will see reminders in multiple ways such as on your Hiretual dashboard, in your email inbox, and candidate profile so you can ensure that you keep in touch with key candidates.
Diversity Filter --- Black or African American
We have enriched our data and algorithm for diverse candidates. We changed one of our previous Diversity choices African American to Black or African American, so that now you can source Black candidates not only in the US but in Europe as well.
